Why Ghana?

Children, especially females, travel long distances, over tough terrain to obtain water that could make them sick and in some cases could kill them. There’s a startling cultural disconnect. One man we visited owned a smart phone, but was drinking unsanitary water from the same water source he used for his cattle.

Safe Water Ghana implements the BioSand filter. It costs $120.00 and lasts 2-3 families between 10-15 years. Pastor Josephus Hallie installs the filters in villages throughout Ghana.
